The best food, authentic Mexican food, we need one in 29 Palms

Great food. However, more importantly, they need a couple uninals in the restroom.

We called on a Saturday evening and asked if they could accommodate 28 people in about 20minutes, they said yes! Got there, we were seated immediately. The service was impeccable, got all orders correct and easily handled the billing even though not all the parties on each check did not sit next to each other.

Been going there for years first time back in a couple of months .. New Menu printed .. Disjointed and hard to find items that were easily seen before ...combintation dinners in a 3×5 inch square on the bottom right corner of the back of the menu ??? ... absolutely the worst chile rellano I've had there and the enchiladas werent far behind .. Sorry to say this but it will be along time before I return if I ever return .. I've had better meals at Del Taco than what I was served tonight.

The food is always well prepared and delightful, staff members hands over awesome customer service. I love the cleanliness and atmosphere. Would recommend to others.

Very good food in Yucca valley. Our party of 8 all had different items, everything was excellent. Nice colorful atmosphere as well.

The food here is good but the service is HORRIBLE .. I used to go here years ago and it was much better then.... our waiter seemed to spend more time standing around the front counter talking to the hostess than actually tending to his tables... we never got our refills we asked for and my taco was burned black on one side and they tried to hide it by putting it upside down? Other than that I like the food I just think they need to hire better staff .. Oh and please please dust.....the light above our table had so much dust on it I thought it was going to drop onto our food... good food but they need some major staff improvements before I go back.

One of the most authentic restaurants we have ever eaten at. Staff were super nice and the food was only surpassed by the Cadillac margaritas.

Was driving through picking up my son from 29 Palms. Stopped in and had the mocajete. It was so good when I drive him back we went and had it again!!! Great prices, service and chips and salsa! Everything was great! Order the chilie toriados!!!!

This place has the worst service. Even the manager just stands around talking on her phone. This is all happening while the place is packed and people are waiting to be served. Despite the horrible service the food is usually really good. I can’t stress the usually part, it depends on the cook. So we have come here and experienced GREAT food and HORRIBLE service. And also HORRIBLE food and HORRIBLE service.

Had dinner here last night and it was fantastic. We eat here quite a bit, but last night was on point. Claudia was our server and she is excellent. The bussers were on point keeping our drinks full as well as our chips and salsa. The house salsa doesn't have much spice but if you ask for some of their salsa Verde and their hot sauce and mix the 3 together, it is awesome. We had a party of with with 4 kids, and the kids menu is just the right amount of food for littles plus they come with drinks so you don't get gouged on buying kids sodas or juice or milk. Anyhow, all in all, a great visit last night! Of and you can pay with your phone. (I use Samsung pay)

Solid Mexican food restaurant with a great platter for two. Good food in a place to get great and many margaritas!

We got the Fiesta plate for two. The taco was great. The chili relleno was very dry and not very cheesy. The cheese enchilada was mediocre and not very cheesy

If you want authentic and mouth watering Mexican and Spanish food, this is the place to go in Yucca Valley. Prices are spectacular and the staff is beyond great. They're friendly, fast and kind. Please try them! You won't regret it. I recommend the fajitas. And if you don't eat meat, they offer a variety of vegetarian options which we're also amazing.

Amazing little place! The staff are friendly, attentive and FAST! You surely will not be disappointed. Starting with the chips and salsa being flavorful and fresh all the way to the end. Aunthentically prepared, seasoned to perfection, comes out fresh and piping hot! We will absolutely be making this a regular stop on our way through town!

I haven't been here in a really long time. When we walked in we where greeted and seated right away. The server was right over to get our drinks, and take our order. The place was decorated the same as I remember but is was really clean and not a lot of noise. It was nice to set and talk. The food was really good and hot when it came out. I had the street taco (which I love) and it was really good and full of meat. We had a wonderful experience and looking forward to eating there again.

The chimichangas were a perfect blend of crispy and soft, better than any I've ever had elsewhere.

I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast today. Portions are large and delicious.

This place has typically had good food and very good service. Today however service was poor, they got my order wrong forgot part of my wife's order. We will definitely give them another try. Maybe it was just a bad day.

Monday evening service 2/10/20 was the worst we have experienced there. Food was OK. Drink service was horrible. Rude and had absolutely no patience. Did not bring the drink I ordered right when we got there.Salt and Pepper shakers were dirty sticky. The seats were being wiped with the same towel that they wiped the table with. Oh and I had to get up to get my own silver ware and napkins. We are great tippers but only when we have great service.

I regularly arrive purchasing some food in this spot. I loved the quick service and well made food. They never disappoint.

Great margaritas, just get the house one it's delicious. Always had great meals with plenty of food per order, and tasty too. Service has been outstanding unless it's slow and then they don't have enough servers working, which is typical restaurant experience. Be patient if that happens, you won't regret it.

LA Casita Nueva is a fantastic spot located in the heart of Yucca Valley, California right off historic route 62. The restaurant itself is nice, clean and has a very family friendly, inviting feel. The service is on top of it and the food is delicious... definitely the best Mexican food I've had in the area. My go to menu items are the homemade guacamole for the table and the steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas...wash it all down with a cold cervasa or a housemade margarita. If you have a hankering for good Mexican food, look no further, this is your place!

The Appetizer was very good, didn't have a meal that day, I visited the Bar with friends. The Bartender "Juan" Is Awesome!! Give him Commendation, Please, or consider him for a Raise in Pay; I'm going back because of his Service and Personality!!

I love this restaurant, the locals love this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and professional, I've always have a good experience here and always felt welcome. Food is outstanding and the drinks are awesome never watered down. My girlfriend's love the mango margaritas, a must try when you go there.
